Alicia McGovern is an IRB Administrator for the Committee on the Use of Human Subjects at Harvard University. Alicia moved to this role in 2018 after working at Harvard Business School for 8 years where she served as the Manager of Research Compliance. While there she served as a lead contact to researchers conducting human subject research, guiding them throughout the IRB review process, and conducting IRB review for all research protocols submitted by faculty and DBA students. Additionally, she was involved in planning multiple faculty trips held each year within and outside the US. Alicia moved to Boston in 2005 to study at Boston College where she earned her degree in Psychology. She is excited to continue a role in IRB review in this office and to work with the research community at the various schools in the Harvard University area.
