Quick Facts:
- Our AAHRPP Site Visit will be conducted via Zoom.
- You will be notified of your interview time as soon as our AAHRPP Site Visit scheduled is finalized.
- We will send you an Outlook invite for your scheduled AAHRPP interview time that includes a Zoom link for your interview.
- Interviews may take place between 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- We will have a Zoom “waiting room” available prior to your scheduled interview.
What can I expect the AAHRPP interview to be like?
- The AAHRPP Team Leader will take roll call at the beginning of each session.
- Each interview session will have two AAHRPP Site Visitors.
- Interviews are confidential and are limited to the people listed on the agenda.
- Interviews are designed to help the AAHRPP Site Visitors understand the roles, responsibilities, and interactions among individuals as well as components of the organization and the relationships between these components and the HRPP.
- Most interviews will be conducted as a group interview. We will let you know who else will be in your interview group.
General Tips for Your AAHRPP Interview
- Be on time.
- Be honest and forthright.
- If you don’t know an answer, don't guess. State that you do not know and that you would contact the IRB office for assistance or look in the ESTR Library for a particular guidance document or SOP.
- Don’t hesitate to ask clarifying questions or terms, if needed.
- Be mindful when using institutional specific terms and acronyms as the AAHRPP Site Visitors will most likely not know what they are referring to.
- And, most importantly, just be yourself! We have a great bunch of people here at Harvard. Be proud of our HRPP!
