Katie Schaffenberger
Reliance Administrator
Katie Schaffenberger is the Reliance Administrator for the Harvard University Area IRB. She has worked in the IRB world since 2020, with experience in both social/behavioral and biomedical research. Katie joined the HUA IRB team as an IRB Administrator in 2021 and transitioned to her current role in 2023. In addition to coordinating reliance agreements and supporting collaborative research, she helps manage the HUA IRB’s Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) program.
