Katie Schaffenberger is the Reliance Administrator for the Harvard University Area IRB. Katie moved to the Boston area in 2021 to begin working in the HUA IRB office after living in Central Illinois for 6 ½ years. She has worked in the IRB world since 2020 and has experience with both Social/Behavioral and Biomedical research. After a brief time away from Harvard, she is thrilled to be back in a new role and is looking forward to connecting with the Harvard research community as well as external collaborators and IRB offices.
